We are sorry to inform you that CHARLIE MARIANO whom I was proud to represent, has passed away. On June 16th. aged 85 he died after a long and dedicated life of music. From his earliest career in Bebop performing with Stan Kenton, Shelly Manne und Charles Mingus, to the later years that he spent in Japan, India and Germany his every breath was music.

We will miss his voice, we will miss his humor, and all of you who over the years had the good luck of hearing him play will surely feel the loss as we do.

The history of music has been a long journey crossing space and time. Like the wind, respecting no borders, it has stirred up a vast repertoire of sounds...styles...directions...
